CANTON, Ohio, June 07, 2017 -- Patriot Software, LLC’s online payroll service now integrates with Intuit QuickBooks Online accounting software.
Patriot Software payroll customers and QuickBooks Online users can easily update their accounting books each time they run payroll. After running a payroll, Patriot’s payroll software automatically sends a journal entry to the customer’s QuickBooks Online account.
“We have developed a seamless integration with QuickBooks Online that will allow our mutual users to save valuable time,” says Jackie White, Accounting Software Specialist. “We are thrilled to offer our payroll customers this tool to eliminate the need for this manual task.”
To join the two software systems, users must go into their payroll settings and authorize the connection. Once authorized, users can send transaction details each time they run payroll. Customers will need to select their QuickBooks accounts that will be used to create the journal entry.
Payroll customers are also able to check the status of their journal entry transmissions by viewing reports that contain information such as the pay date and period. This verifies the information is current in both accounts.
Patriot Software’s integration with QuickBooks Online serves to benefit current and future payroll customers who rely on both products. Now, small business owners can run payroll through Patriot and report payroll expenses directly to their QuickBooks Online account.
