Patti Brennan Featured on Investment News Miniseries The Secret Life

Aside from financial planning, Brennan invests her time in the community, and has served on the Board of Chester County Hospital and currently serves on the Board of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine and Cuddle My Kids.  Like many people, Patti has had the opportunity to go into classrooms and talk to children about what it’s like to be a business owner and a financial planner.  This summer, she wanted to take a different approach to engage and educate the younger generation.  Patti’s role at the local YMCA led her to jumpstart an initiative through Key Financial called “CEO for the Day”.  A local boy in the community was given the chance to live out a day in the life as CEO of Key Financial.  Key Financial provided him with a brand new suit, white shirt, red tie and shiny new shoes.  He was given his own parking spot and office and sat in meetings with clients and staff.  He learned firsthand what is like to run a multi- million dollar company.

Upon hearing about the event, Investment News brought their cameras to film “CEO for the Day” as the first episode of The Secret Life miniseries.  Patti’s hope is that other business leaders in the community will create opportunities like this for children.  “To see the transformation in this young man’s face once he realized that financial planning is not only fun, but maybe something he can aspire to and achieve – was the greatest feeling in the world!”, states Brennan.  “I encourage other business owners to open their office doors to today’s youth and inspire dreams that these children never could have imagined before!”
