Pearson said it resolved a course-access disruption on Oct. 26 after customers encountered 504 Gateway Timeout errors reaching its MyLab, Mastering and Revel services through learning management systems.

The company’s status log showed its first update at 4:54 p.m. ET (20:54 UTC) Monday, Oct. 26, followed by a resolution notice at 5:38 p.m. ET (21:38 UTC). The entries were 44 minutes apart, but the log does not establish when the errors began.

While investigating, Pearson advised customers to sign in directly through its platform to reach their courses. The company said the systems were operating normally when it closed the incident. Pearson’s learning page lists MyLab, Mastering and Revel as course platforms; the incident notice addressed access through learning management systems.

Hindustan Times reported social media complaints, including one student’s concern about finishing an assignment during the disruption. Neither the posts nor their reach was independently confirmed.
