Peru’s financial regulator has released a draft of Titles V through VII of its proposed open finance regulation, inviting public feedback on technical rules for exchanging financial information.
The Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP (SBS) said the package proposes a participant directory, a developer portal and a testing environment. A trust framework would verify participants’ identities, roles, applications and authorization conditions.
The draft also addresses data-sharing interfaces, security, certification, traceability, service levels and data quality. It sets out testing and compliance checks for entities before they can operate in the system.
The Oct. 19 release is the second block of the proposal. The first, published Oct. 5, covered Titles I through IV, including participant roles, registration, user experience and consent. The SBS says the planned system aims to give users control over their financial data and promote competition and financial inclusion through secure, standardized exchanges.
Comments on the first block are due Oct. 23. The SBS will accept submissions on the second block through Nov. 6; it has not provided a date for final rules.
