NEWARK, N.J. , Aug. 30, 2016 -- August 30, 2016 – The Big “Mo” continues at Phone.com in 2016 with its fifth consecutive appearance on the Inc. 5000, an exclusive list of the fastest growing private companies in America.
The Inc. 5000 measures private companies based on percentage revenue over a four-year period, capturing a snapshot of America’s independent entrepreneurs.
“Being a part of this list again is such an honor,” said Phone.com CEO Ari Rabban. “As a cloud communications provider, growth is vital to the health of our business and it’s good to be recognized on such a prestigious list for the fifth time.”
Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg put things in focus for this 35th edition of the list.
"The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts," he said. "It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That's one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails."
Schurenberg went on to point out that many household names in business first gained national exposure as part of the Inc. 5000, including Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp and Zillow.
Rabban attributed Phone.com’s continued growth in a crowded market to value and customer service.
“There is no growth in our business without adding customers,” he said. “We believe in putting the customer first and we do that every day through competitive pricing and our U.S.-based customer service.”
The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring all the companies on the list will be held from October 18 through 20, in San Antonio, TX.
