Pigment’s effort to automate corporate planning gained $250 million in new funding, the Paris-based software company said Oct. 21, with the Series E valuing it at $2.3 billion.

The company plans to use the proceeds for research and a larger engineering team. Their work will focus on Graphite, Pigment’s patent-pending computing engine, and AI agents for its planning platform.

The Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, led the financing. Existing investors Meritech, IVP, ICONIQ and Greenoaks took part alongside WIL (World Innovation Lab), Pigment said. Pigment and NVIDIA both said NVIDIA plans to invest.

Pigment sells software that helps companies forecast results and assess plans across finance, sales and workforce planning. Its stated goal is for AI agents to move beyond individual modeling and analysis tasks to managing planning workflows within a shared model.

Pigment said annual recurring revenue exceeded $100 million earlier in 2026, double its level a year earlier. The company also said its agents now create 85% of new metrics on the platform.

Co-founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli wrote that 84% of Pigment’s accounts use AI each week. That figure measures account usage, while the 85% figure concerns newly created metrics.

The founders identified a Planner Agent designed to oversee entire planning cycles as the next product step. They gave no launch date. For now, the broader planning role is a company objective, while the reported usage figures describe activity on its existing platform.

The round follows a $145 million Series D that Pigment announced in April 2024, led by ICONIQ Growth. EQT said Oct. 15 that its Scaleup Europe Fund had secured more than €3 billion in commitments toward a €5 billion target and would continue fundraising into the first half of 2027.
