Pixelverse, a cyberpunk-themed crypto gaming ecosystem, has unveiled the PIXFI token on The Open Network (TON). This launch aims to support its rapidly growing Telegram game, PixelTap, which combines clicker and combat elements.
Pixelverse Expands with PIXFI Token on TON, Enhancing the Popular PixelTap Game and Introducing a New Quest Battler
As Decrypt reported, Pixelverse, a crypto gaming ecosystem with a cyberpunk motif, is introducing a token on The Open Network (TON) in response to expanding its Telegram-based game PixelTap.
PixelTap is a unique game that fuses clicker and combat elements. It allows players to amass in-game currency to upgrade their robots for battle. The intense combat requires players to tap various areas of the screen to attack their opponent's bot, defend themselves, and unleash special attacks, creating a thrilling gaming experience.
However, Pixelverse is not limited to its Telegram game; it also provides a web browser-based quest battler within the same universe. Pixelverse is in the 'early preview' phase, where players can get a sneak peek into the game's features and mechanics before the official alpha release. The team works tirelessly to ensure a smooth and exciting gaming experience for all players.
Pixelverse Achieves 35 Million Players, Launches PIXFI Token on TON to Enhance Gaming Ecosystem
Pixelverse has reported that it has accumulated 35 million players to date, with the majority of them participating in PixelTap as the broader Telegram gaming community gains momentum.
The PIXFI token, a pivotal component of the Pixelverse ecosystem, is set to have a total supply of 5 billion. As outlined in the official documentation, this token will play a crucial role in trading, crafting, and combat within the Pixelverse, promising a bright and exciting future for the ecosystem.
The TON network, home to the most significant web3 gaming initiatives, has successfully launched Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, and Catizen. In May, Notcoin effectively launched NOT, the most significant gaming token of 2024, setting a promising precedent for the future of gaming on the TON network.
“TON and Telegram are leading the charge in mass crypto adoption, and we are thrilled to be part of this transformative journey,” Pixelverse expressed in response to the announcement post, instilling confidence in the future of cryptocurrency.
