Pope Leo XIV's 10-city South America tour began Nov. 6 and is scheduled to conclude Nov. 17, the sixth international journey of his papacy, Vatican News reported.

The Vatican itinerary lists Montevideo, Paysandú and Florida in Uruguay; Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Luján in Argentina; and Lima, Chiclayo, Cusco and Pucallpa in Peru.

On Oct. 26, the Holy See Press Office said Dr. Luigi Carbone, Leo's physician, found no medical contraindication to the trip after reviewing his condition and test results.

EconoTimes previously outlined the 10-city itinerary, which includes 12 airplane legs and two helicopter trips. The schedule lists Leo's arrival in Lima on Nov. 11, departure from the Peruvian capital on Nov. 16 and return to Rome on Nov. 17.
