DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Feb. 13, 2017 -- February 13, 2017 – PositiveID Corporation (“PositiveID” or “Company”) (OTC:PSID), a life sciences company focused on detection and diagnostics, announced today that it will exhibit its Caregiver® non-contact, infrared thermometer at the Health Connect Partners (“HCP”) 2017 Spring Hospital Supply Chain Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, FL from February 27–March 1, 2017.
Caregiver is a clinical-grade, infrared thermometer for measurement of forehead temperature in adults, children, and infants without contact. It delivers an oral-equivalent temperature directly from the forehead in one to two seconds without touching the skin. Since Caregiver does not require probe cover supplies, it reduces the risk of cross-contamination and saves healthcare facilities the cost of covers (as much as $0.05 to $0.10 per temperature), storage space, and waste disposal costs. It is estimated that Caregiver can offer savings of $250 or more per year per device in probe cover supplies alone.
HCP connects providers and suppliers through educational meetings and conferences to provide the best in healthcare education and networking so providers learn real solutions and suppliers understand their real needs. HCP brings providers and suppliers together through industry-specific conferences, including Hospital Pharmacy, Hospital O.R. & Surgical, Radiology & Imaging, Hospital Supply Chain and Hospital & Healthcare I.T. Each aspect of its conferences is designed to provide the optimum environment for networking and building relationships between providers and suppliers.
PositiveID’s Thermomedics team is featuring Caregiver at the HCP conference to increase exposure and awareness for Caregiver and generate qualified leads for dealer follow-up.
