Privy is adding programmable wallet tools for XRP Ledger (XRPL) developers, giving application builders ways to create wallets, sign transactions and work with XRP, Ripple USD (RLUSD) and other ledger assets.

Developers can manage XRPL wallets through code and incorporate them into applications. The features also include exporting private keys and seed phrases.

The tools support x402 payments, a system for applications in which software agents pay for services. The additions are aimed at developers rather than being a feature for all existing RLUSD holders.

A subsequent phase is expected to bring policy controls and sponsored gas fees to the integration.
