Quant (QNT) advanced on Binance during a one-hour trading window on Oct. 25, while a cross-exchange count showed short positions accounted for all reported liquidations.
The Binance spot market for QNT and Tether (USDT) quoted the asset at $196 at 1:56 p.m. ET (17:56 UTC), versus $188 at the hour’s start. The reported increase was 4.25%. QNT’s 24-hour reading at that time was up 10.66%, covering a longer period than the hourly change.
Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, the tally recorded $80,000 in liquidations of short positions and none in long positions. Liquidations are forced position closures. The price comparison came from Binance’s spot market, while the count combined activity across all three exchanges during that hour.
CoinGecko’s exchange-spot data put QNT at $198.03, up 12.13% over the previous 24 hours as of 18:00 UTC. That update followed the Binance reading by four minutes. Quant’s market capitalization was estimated near $2.74 billion at the earlier snapshot, when the asset ranked 40th by market value.
