RBC Wealth Management won three categories at the 2026 Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards, drawing attention to its international expansion and use of AI in its wealth business.

The organizer selected RBC for Outstanding Private Bank – Global, Outstanding Private Bank – North America and Outstanding Private Bank for Growth Strategy. RBC said the global prize was its third in succession and the North American honor its sixth.

The company said earnings in its U.S. wealth business rose 91% over five years and that it serves 320,000 households. RBC also said its wealth management businesses in the United States and United Kingdom each rank among the top six by assets under administration.

For the global award, judges review assets under management, net new money and revenue, the organizer says. They also examine regional strategy, the consistency of client service, staffing and innovation. Growth Strategy judging considers how a bank carries out expansion and whether service quality and risk standards hold up as it grows.

RBC said its in-house generative AI tool, RBC Assist, was available to all its advisers. More than 75,000 RBC employees worldwide were using the company’s AI platforms at the time of the announcement. That employee figure covers RBC’s AI platforms overall.

Neil McLaughlin, group head of RBC Wealth Management & Insurance, said, “Few clients today have simple needs,” pointing to wealth that increasingly crosses borders and generations. RBC credited its approach to clients and its expansion in North America and other markets for the recognition.

The company also said it received two PWM Wealth Tech Awards in April 2026 for its AI strategy and RBC Assist. The Private Banker International awards organizer has scheduled its next reception for Oct. 7, 2027.
