The Reserve Bank of India accepted the full ₹34,000 crore offered in a reissue of its 6.94% Government Stock 2036, reporting the price and yield set for the sovereign bond sale.
The cut-off price was ₹96.91, corresponding to an implicit yield of 7.3955%. That yield was above the stock’s 6.94% coupon. The RBI reported no devolvement on primary dealers.
The Ministry of Finance’s notification lists May 11, 2026, as the stock’s issue date and May 11, 2036, as its maturity date. Payment for the reissue is due Oct. 19, 2026.
The sale result records bids accepted for the stock. A separate RBI announcement set the underwriting commission for primary dealers handling the reissue; EconoTimes previously covered that commission cut-off.
