A RWA.xyz snapshot on Oct. 19 counted more than twice as many tokens of one Spiko Amundi fund share class on Arbitrum One as on Ethereum, showing how its shareholder record spans blockchains.
Arbitrum One held 138.4 million eurSAFO tokens, versus 56.4 million on Ethereum. The figures cover the fund’s EUR Share, one euro-denominated share class. They do not measure all shares in the fund or all tokenized assets on either network.
Amundi and Spiko announced the Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund on March 19 for treasury and collateral management. Amundi serves as delegated investment manager, while Spiko handles tokenization and the shareholder register. The announcement identified Ethereum and Stellar as register networks; Spiko’s prospectus also lists Arbitrum One.
The companies say fund shares can be transferred at any hour, but the prospectus requires the recipient’s address to be allowlisted. Redemption follows business-day processing. A transfer between eligible addresses and a redemption are therefore separate steps, despite the fund’s stated overnight liquidity.
Spiko says banks pay for exposure that avoids holding the underlying assets on their balance sheets. Investors seeking yield bear fund fees and, where applicable, token-transfer fees under the prospectus. Spiko says the fund’s underlying swap strategy has been used since 2014.
Separately, Offchain’s chief strategy officer expressed interest in Arbitrum as a venue for token issuance and decentralized finance tools. The comments identified no product or launch date.
Arbitrum also supports xStocks, tracker certificates linked to equities and exchange-traded funds. They provide economic exposure rather than ownership of the underlying shares. Enso says its API gives applications access to xStocks on Arbitrum, while xStocks’ documentation describes restrictions on distribution.
An earlier examination of tokenized stocks used as lending collateral described a hypothetical timing problem: a protocol could take control of tokens while the underlying stock market was closed and redemption took longer. The fund snapshot and Offchain’s comments establish no lending plan involving this fund.
