Rain (RAIN) led listed crypto decliners in a Tuesday 89-asset snapshot, with 66 tokens falling and later 24-hour readings showing gains for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH).
At 8:03 a.m. ET (12:03 UTC) Tuesday, Oct. 27, Rain was priced at $0.00707, down 12.48% over the previous 24 hours. It ranked 22nd by market capitalization. The count covered 89 large cryptocurrencies and excluded stablecoins: 66 were lower and 23 higher.
Among the 10 assets featured for notable moves, Rain alone changed by more than 10%. Akedo (AKE) had the next-steepest listed decline, down 7.70% to $0.0292. Sky (SKY) slid 6.38% to $0.0648, while Quant (QNT) lost 5.80% to $201.50 and Pyth Network (PYTH) fell 4.64% to $0.0722.
Morpho (MORPHO) led the five featured gainers, rising 6.76% to $2.17. XDC Network (XDC) gained 4.78% to $0.0348, Midnight (NIGHT) advanced 4.63% to $0.0396, Dash (DASH) climbed 4.36% to $54.82, and Venice Token (VVV) added 3.43% to $25.46.
In the morning reading, Bitcoin was $79,775, down 0.64%, and Ether was $2,312, down 0.75%. Later data from CoinGecko and exchange spot markets put Rain at $0.00718351, down 6.97% over 24 hours as of 3:20 p.m. ET (19:20 UTC). Bitcoin was up 0.71% at $80,559, while Ether gained 0.99% to $2,339.65.
The count measures how many assets moved up or down, while each percentage change records a token's move over the preceding 24 hours. Rain's later quoted price was above its morning level, although its 24-hour change remained negative. The two readings are separate observations with different 24-hour windows.
An EconoTimes crypto snapshot on Oct. 25 counted 65 decliners among 90 large assets, with Akedo leading the listed declines after a 21.93% drop. The Oct. 27 reading again showed more decliners than gainers, across a group with a different total asset count.
