Mr. Bittner will serve as the Director of Ramboll Environ's post-merger integration (PMI) services. In this role, he will oversee a group of professionals who provide strategic and tactical advice, and also serve as technical experts, program managers and temporary staff to support industrial, commercial and extractive industry clients with the environmental, health and safety (EHS) aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and spin-offs.
Mr. Bittner brings more than 25 years of experience in the EHS field. His particular expertise includes PMI planning and implementation; enhanced divestiture services; spin-off and carve-out consulting; organizational design, assessment and improvement; operational excellence, systems streamlining and synergy capture; transaction services; EHS compliance auditing; audit program design, evaluation and management; auditor training; environmental management system evaluation, design and implementation; ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 gap analyses and systems development; EMIS tools; strategic planning; EHS regulatory compliance; NOV negotiations; soil and groundwater investigations; and high-impact health and safety performance improvement. A past member of the Board of Directors of the Auditing Roundtable and current editor of EHS Journal, he has published extensively on PMI and other EHS topics.
