Rapid7 Named Most Valuable Partner of the Year by Intel Security Innovation Alliance

BOSTON, Dec. 06, 2016 -- Rapid7, Inc. (NASDAQ:RPD), a leading provider of data analytics solutions for IT and security professionals, today announced it was named Most Valuable Partner of the Year by the Intel Security Innovation Alliance; Rapid7 was also a finalist for Most Innovative Partner of the Year. The winners were announced at the Intel Security Innovation Alliance Developers Conference, which takes place in conjunction with the Intel Security FOCUS conference. Rapid7 was selected for creating new product integrations that provide greater security against new, sophisticated security threats, and cyber attacks.

On November 3, Rapid7 announced that its live vulnerability management solution, Nexpose, is fully integrated and compatible with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and McAfee Data Exchange Layer (DXL). By integrating Nexpose to both McAfee ePO and McAfee DXL, mutual customers now have always-on vulnerability management, visibility into their endpoints and entire IT environments, and the ability to prioritize remediation to maximize impact. The integrations will help organizations break down communication barriers between IT and security teams to collaboratively reduce the risk of a breach.

Through Nexpose integrations with both McAfee ePO and McAfee DXL, mutual customers will have extended visibility into each asset on their network, increasing the ability to manage risk with automated responses to threats, including malicious file infections. Nexpose provides live vulnerability monitoring, allowing customers to automatically collect data and analyze network exposure as it changes. Using this data, Nexpose prioritizes risk based on customer environments and attacker behavior, and then streamlines remediation by aligning IT and security workflows.

Additional integrations with Nexpose include McAfee Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) and McAfee Threat Intelligence Exchange (TIE). Rapid7 is also undertaking additional integrations with key Intel Security technologies to further invest in its strategic partnership.
