Ras Al Khaimah’s Public Services Department (RAKPSD) and Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters closed all public beaches Oct. 24, citing public safety; officials have not set a reopening date.

The two authorities issued the order in a joint notice on Oct. 24. It took effect at once and applies to every public beach in the emirate.

The agencies posted the notice on @rakpsd and @rakpoliceghq, their official accounts, and told the public to follow government safety guidance. They asked residents and visitors to avoid the coastline while the closure is in place.

Officials said they would provide another update on reopening based on conditions. They advised the public to watch government channels for further information and thanked the community for its cooperation.
