Raydium (RAY) remained about 23% below its Oct. 7 close Monday morning despite an intraday rise of roughly 6%, leaving the daily result unsettled until the trading session ends.
At 4:46 a.m. ET (08:46 UTC) on Oct. 19, RAY traded around $1.91. CoinGecko's UTC price history records a $1.80 close on Oct. 18 and a $2.47 close on Oct. 7.
On Solana, Raydium provides pools for token swaps and liquidity. Traders pay swap fees, and Raydium's published rules use 12% of those fees for RAY buybacks in each of three pool types: CLMM, CPMM and standard AMM v4. Liquidity providers receive 84% of fees in CLMM and CPMM pools and 88% in standard AMM v4 pools.
The buyback allocation links token purchases to activity in those pools. The $1.91 quote remains a snapshot of an open session, rather than a daily closing price. The Oct. 19 UTC trading day ends at 8 p.m. ET (00:00 UTC Oct. 20), when its closing change can be measured.
