Raymond Limited’s shares climbed 148.9% between Dec. 31, 2025, and Oct. 23, as investors weigh the company’s aerospace orders and margins ahead of its next scheduled results review.
The stock closed at ₹1,063.40 on Oct. 23, up from ₹427.25 at the end of 2025. On Oct. 24, Raymond’s board approved a proposal to rename the company Raymond Aerospace, Defence & Engineering Limited. Shareholders and regulators must still approve the change.
The proposal comes after Raymond’s earlier separations of its lifestyle and real estate businesses. Raymond retains aerospace and defense, along with precision technology and auto components.
In an Aug. 7 investor presentation, Raymond put its aerospace order book above ₹5,960 crore across a 10-year contract horizon. The company later announced orders covering more than 300 part numbers, with annual volumes above 37,000 components. At expected production rates, Raymond estimated potential annual business of about ₹33 crore. It said production would begin progressively in 2026 and 2027.
Aerospace and defense revenue reached ₹123 crore in the quarter ended June 30, compared with ₹87 crore a year earlier. The business’s EBITDA margin narrowed to 21.2% from 23.7%; Raymond attributed the decline to research and development spending. The company’s five-year investment plan includes about ₹510 crore for aerospace and defense capacity and ₹430 crore for precision technology and auto components.
On Oct. 12, Raymond said a subsidiary was developing an additional facility near its existing plant in Andhra Pradesh. The company expects the facility to support additional customer demand during the current financial year. Raymond’s board is scheduled to consider unaudited results for the quarter and half-year ended Sept. 30 on Oct. 27.
