Consolidated profit from continuing operations reached ₹32.06 crore, compared with ₹13.89 crore. The board approved a proposal on Oct. 24 to change the company’s name to Raymond Aerospace, Defence & Engineering Limited. The BSE filing says the change requires shareholder approval by special resolution, Central Government and stock-exchange approvals, and other clearances. It gives no date for a shareholder vote. The proposal continues earlier EconoTimes coverage of Raymond’s proposed aerospace-focused name.
