RedStone estimated that about 2% of tokenized stocks’ active market value was in lending markets as of Sept. 9, while ARK Invest reported a sharp rise in trading during the third quarter.

RedStone put the lending amount at about $81 million against an active market capitalization of $4 billion. Its analysis drew on Binance Research figures showing $289.1 million in DeFi deposits, with 28.1% in lending markets. The estimate describes lending use at a particular date and against a specific market-value measure.

ARK’s Q3 2026 report put tokenized-stock trading on spot decentralized exchanges (DEXs) at about $50 billion, roughly nine times the Q2 level. Tokenized stocks made up about 9% of spot DEX volume, compared with 1% in the previous quarter. Lending use and trading volume track different activity, so the trading increase does not show that a comparable share of the assets entered lending markets.

ARK said Binance ran an incentive program that may have inflated volume on BNB Chain. The report presented this as a possible influence on activity, not a confirmed explanation for the broader quarterly increase.

RedStone identified pricing outside stock-market hours and redemption risk as constraints on lending tokenized stocks. It said lenders account for those risks when setting collateral limits.
