The Kyiv Independent reported that Exilenova+, a monitoring channel, identified Russia’s Slavneft-YANOS refinery in Yaroslavl as a target in an alleged drone attack on Nov. 3. The outlet said residents reported three fires in the city’s industrial zone.

The report did not confirm that the refinery itself was hit and included no confirmed damage, operational disruption or casualty details.

Slavneft-YANOS says its average annual crude throughput is about 15 million metric tons. The company lists gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and oils among its products. Its profile says the refinery was commissioned in 1961.

In a separate statement on Sept. 17, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said a strike hit the refinery’s AVT-3 primary crude-oil processing unit, which caught fire. It described the facility as supporting supplies for Russia’s armed forces.
