WALTHAM, Mass., July 18, 2017 -- Revulytics, Inc., a leading provider of software usage analytics, today announced Revulytics™ Usage Intelligence v5 with enhanced ReachOut™ functionality for Windows, macOS, and Linux applications, enabling software providers to create highly personalized customer experiences driven by dynamic in-application messaging and usage analytics insight.
Product managers and marketers of distributed software continue to look for ways to more closely connect with their customers to gain insight into product usage in order to build better products. With greater segmentation and personalization of in-application messages, they can create holistic campaigns that drive users to dynamic landing pages yielding higher conversion rates for trial, upgrade and renewal offers. They can create campaigns based on feature usage, license type, product versions, languages, and more. Furthermore, product and marketing professionals can implement pop-up messages and create campaigns without engineering resources or coding experience.
In addition, product managers can deliver contextually relevant in-application messages directly to specific user segments to build better products. Leveraging ReachOut’s integration with survey platforms, product managers are able to get feedback on features, workflows, and applications from the most qualified users. Additionally, answers to qualifying questions such as user profile and computing environment can be collected and fed into the survey platform automatically to streamline the process.
“Our customers are seeing significant improvements in trial conversion and renewal rates through the ability to reach and message users based on their engagement level within the product,” said Keith Fenech, VP, Software Analytics at Revulytics. “This latest version of Revulytics Usage Intelligence affirms the value our customers are getting from ReachOut and their desire to do even more with it. With out-of-the-box reporting and visualization, customers can easily track the results of their campaigns along with product usage activity and trends.”
The latest release of Revulytics Usage Intelligence offers HTTPS communications for the secure transmission of usage data from end user customer environments. Other new functionality includes:
- Enhanced environmental data about users’ machines, including graphics card and .NET versions.
- User engagement and loyalty reports showing how often users run an application over any date range and their usage patterns over time.
- Enhanced ability to collect marketing campaign details such as download source, use custom properties to target ReachOut follow-up messages, and optimize best performing activities.
Additionally, usage data is now extensible to other applications and platforms by using the Revulytics Reporting API to integrate with third party solutions. Revulytics Compliance Intelligence customers, for example, can leverage advanced usage data in their Salesforce.com based compliance dashboards and workflows.
