Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said Tuesday on the company’s third-quarter earnings call that it plans to expand developer support after early activity on Robinhood Chain prompted it to staff a builder team.
Tenev said developers had asked Robinhood for more support. He gave no investment amount or firm timeline for an expansion, and did not specify the team’s size or name planned programs.
Robinhood’s roadmap puts stock tokens and perpetuals first, with additional tokenized assets planned later. Tenev said developers could use those products in applications running on the chain.
Robinhood opened the network’s public mainnet on July 1, 2026. The network operates as an open layer 2 built with Arbitrum technology, works with Ethereum and targets financial services and tokenized real-world assets. EconoTimes previously examined a vault holding nearly half of Robinhood Chain’s locked assets.
Tenev said more support was expected “in the near future,” without specifying when an expanded effort would begin.
