Roper Technologies' latest dividend increase will lift quarterly payments to $1 per share in January, extending a run of annual hikes that now spans 34 years.
Roper said Wednesday its board approved the new quarterly rate, 10% above the amount paid in each quarter of 2026. The company has now lifted its annual dividend 34 years in a row.
The $1 payment is scheduled for Jan. 19, 2027, for shareholders on record Jan. 4. The increase adds $0.09 per share to each quarterly payment, or an expected $0.36 annually, according to the company.
The announcement follows Roper's third-quarter earnings update. In its Oct. 22 earnings release, the company reported revenue of $2.17 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up 8% from a year earlier. Organic revenue grew 7%, while acquisitions contributed 1% to growth.
Net earnings under generally accepted accounting principles rose 22% to $485 million, and adjusted net earnings increased 5% to $586 million. Adjusted diluted earnings per share climbed 15% to $5.89. Roper raised its 2026 adjusted diluted earnings-per-share outlook to $22.35-$22.40, from $22.15-$22.30, and projected $5.95-$6.00 for the fourth quarter.
