Russia accused the United States of putting its participation in the Oct. 30-31 G20 foreign ministers’ meeting in Atlanta at risk, Anadolu Agency reported, after Moscow said its delegation lacked confirmed logistical support.

At a briefing in Moscow on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said officials learned overnight that arrangements for delegates on Russia’s list remained unconfirmed. She said Moscow submitted its delegation list nearly two months earlier and had provided all required documents and information. Russian experts continued preparing for the meeting, she added.

The foreign ministers’ gathering is a preparatory event for the G20 leaders’ summit in Doral, Florida, near Miami. Summit participants were expected to discuss global supply chains, energy security and food supplies, Anadolu Agency reported.

The foreign ministers are scheduled to meet in Atlanta on Oct. 30-31, the agency reported.
