The Securities and Exchange Commission will hold a public roundtable Nov. 9 on how investors and markets use machine-understandable data for Super Intelligence (SI), including the risks and costs involved.

To learn how the investing public and markets use the data in SI applications, SEC Chief Economist Joshua White said staff would draw on feedback from market participants. He said it could also inform how the commission might better facilitate SI. White said “high-quality information is critical.”

The discussion is open to the public, though space at the SEC’s Washington headquarters may be limited. Visitors will be subject to security checks. The SEC will stream the session on its website and make a recording available later.

The Nov. 9 roundtable is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET (EST). The agency has directed the public to its event page for the full agenda.
