Storage shares moved higher in U.S. premarket trading Monday, with SK Hynix leading five gainers at 3.85% following losses across the same companies in earlier EconoTimes coverage.

SanDisk was up 3.56%. The other increases were 2.55% for Seagate Technology, 2.44% for Micron Technology and 2.11% for Western Digital. SK Hynix’s gain was recorded at 4:09 a.m. ET (08:09 UTC).

The figures reflect premarket trading rather than Monday’s closing prices. An earlier report on a decline in U.S. stocks recorded a 2.36% drop in the Nasdaq Composite and losses across the same five storage stocks. That report put the declines at 6.13% for SK Hynix, 5.97% for Seagate Technology and 4.33% for Micron Technology. SanDisk fell 5.3%, and Western Digital lost 5.16%.
