An address trading SP500 contracts shifted from a long valued at about $1.1 million to a short worth $10.81 million, leaving its listed short position substantially larger.
The address closed the long position and opened the short. A short position generally gains when the underlying price falls, while a long position generally gains when it rises. The contract account also showed about $30.41 million in cumulative profit.
EconoTimes previously covered the same address during a separate XYZ100 position change on Oct. 16, when its short exposure rose over a 55-minute session. That earlier report put the address’s gains at more than $25 million.
