A missile strike hit a health center in Yemen’s Lahj province on Monday, with state-run Saba reporting at least 20 civilians killed or injured but providing no separate toll.

Yemen’s state-run Saba satellite channel identified the target as Al-Suqya health center in Al-Mudaribah and Al-Arah district. It gave no separate figures for deaths and injuries and provided no further details about the strike.

Anadolu Ajansı characterized the strike as a Houthi attack, but its account said Saba had reported a missile strike without quoting the broadcaster assigning responsibility. The Houthis had not immediately commented, Anadolu reported.

Anadolu also reported recurring clashes between government and Houthi forces in Al-Mudaribah in recent weeks. United Nations reports cited by the outlet put deaths and injuries from July’s escalation in the thousands and the number of displaced people above 250,000.
