Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor linked the company’s Bitcoin (BTC) tracker in a Sunday X post but announced no new purchase, leaving any buying after Nov. 1 unconfirmed.
The post said “Connecting the dots” and included a link to the tracker. Strategy’s Nov. 2 filing reported its latest purchase as 811 BTC acquired from Oct. 26 through Nov. 1 for $65.5 million, at an average $80,846 per coin including fees and expenses.
As of Nov. 1, Strategy held 849,327 BTC, acquired for a total of $64.08 billion at an average $75,451 per coin. EconoTimes previously covered the purchase funded by stock sales.
For that purchase, Strategy sold 1,178,552 shares of its Class A common stock, traded as MSTR, and reported $164 million in net proceeds. It allocated $65.5 million to the Bitcoin purchase and $98.5 million to USD Cash. Separately, the filing said the company used USD Cash to repurchase 2,092,035 STRC shares for $208.2 million.
The company’s third-quarter filing reported $14.26 billion in Bitcoin purchases during the first nine months of 2026, funded collectively with net proceeds from sales of STRC, STRK and Class A common stock through at-the-market programs. It did not specify how much each security contributed.
Strategy’s dashboard listed STRC, its variable-rate preferred stock, at $99.84 at the Nov. 6 market-data update at 4 p.m. ET, 16 cents below its $100 stated amount. Strategy’s third-quarter filing notes that STRC fell to about $71 in June. The company says it may change dividend rates or repurchase shares to support its goal of trading around $99 to $100, while cautioning that it cannot ensure the shares will reach that range.
Strategy’s dashboard lists Nov. 9 as the next STRC payout date.
