Schaeffler reported €5.814 billion in third-quarter revenue, while weaker European automaker projects prompted charges in its E-Mobility business. Its board had confirmed the 2026 outlook on Oct. 26.
Revenue totaled €5.814 billion, compared with €5.826 billion a year earlier. The decline was 0.2% on a reported-currency basis and 2.0% on a constant-currency basis, Schaeffler’s interim statement said.
The board confirmed the 2026 outlook on Oct. 26. Schaeffler published its final results on Nov. 3, so the outlook confirmation preceded that release.
The company cited lower volumes on projects for European automakers, particularly in China. It also recorded about €220 million in third-quarter impairments and provisions related to E-Mobility.
Schaeffler said capacity adjustments are expected to help future profitability. The company’s annual results are scheduled for March 3, 2027.
