The U.S. Secret Service arrested Venezuelan national Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos near the White House Thursday evening following an alleged threat against President Donald Trump, the Department of Homeland Security said.
The department said officers found three firearms in a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
DHS said Chrinos told officers he came to Washington after hearing voices urging him to kill the president.
