Featuring the industry’s best performance for a configurable 12G UHD-SDI cable equalizer and cable driver, the GS12090 is ideal for use in applications with limited space for connectors, including broadcast video servers, modular I/O cards, PCIe cards, portable recorders and players, and more.
The GS12090 is a low power, configurable multi-rate re-timing cable equalizer and cable driver that supports rates up to 12G UHD-SDI. It can be configured to equalize or drive signals over 75Ω coaxial cable.
“UHD and HDR continue to gain traction in the marketplace,” said Don Shaver, Director of Marketing for Video Products in Semtech’s Signal Integrity Product Group. “Broadcasters are deploying UHD-SDI infrastructures in their next-generation facilities in support of these services. The GS12090 12G UHD-SDI cable equalizer and cable driver, with its industry-leading performance, enables equipment manufacturers to continue to develop commercial off-the-shelf solutions supporting the latest industry standards.”
