‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 8, titled “Unpaid Debts,” will follow Harlee as she makes desperate attempts to reunite the team following the fallout, which was a consequence of her recent confession about the FBI. Wozniak will also continue his pursuit of Bianchi.
The lengthy synopsis for “Unpaid Debts” posted on TV Guide reads, “Wozniak (Ray Liotta) goes after Bianchi (guest star Ritchie Coster) for breaking their agreement; Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) tries to unite the team around an illegal mission to repay Tufo's (Hampton Fluker) brother's debt to a local drug dealer;
Stahl (Warren Kole) makes good on his threat to go after the crew; Wozniak faces the impossible decision of choosing between his team and Ayres (guest star Anna Gunn) just as his son, Nate (guest star Cameron Scoggins), makes an effort to reunite.”
The upcoming episode will follow Harlee while she desperately attempts to bring the team back together following fallout from the previous episode. According to Christian Post, Harlee’s team fell apart after she made the confession that she was involved with the FBI.
This led the team to believe that Wozniak betrayed them as well despite Harlee’s claims that she was the only one who informed on them. However, it was revealed that Wozniak was aware of Harlee’s deal with Stahl the entire time.
While the team was falling apart, Harlee worked with Wozniak to strategize a desperate move that could ultimately neutralize Bianchi. Unfortunately, their efforts caused some backlash from the Mafia.
The new episode will also feature Wozniak as he goes after Bianchi after the latter failed to follow-through with their agreement. He will also be faced with the difficult dilemma of choosing between Julia and the team or his son, Nate.
‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 8, titled “Unpaid Debts,” is scheduled to air on NBC on April 23, 2017. It will be followed by episode 9, titled "Chaos Is Come Again,” and scheduled to be released on April 30.
