Shiba Inu's Enigmatic Tweet Ignites Speculation and Boosts SHIB Trading Volume on Upbit
Once again, Shiba Inu (SHIB) stirred the internet with an intriguing and enigmatic tweet, fueling anticipation and sparking widespread speculation, per U.Today.
On May 28, the official Shiba Inu Twitter account shared an exciting tweet with the phrase "GM," tagging the Shib community, also referred to as the "ShibArmy." The tweet, accompanied by an enigmatic image, quickly attracted the interest of SHIB fans and the larger cryptocurrency community.
True to their reputation, the enthusiastic and committed Shiba Inu community, the SHIBArmy, responded with a flurry of happy emojis. A community member named Vet Kusama replied with "Shiba" and the rocket emoji, while others expressed their excitement with the fire emoji.
The most recent tweet from Shiba Inu's official X account indicates that the company may continue interacting with its lively community. Shiba Inu has undoubtedly sparked interest in cryptocurrencies and raised expectations and excitement.
According to CoinMarketCap data, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has become one of the most traded cryptocurrencies on Upbit, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea. SHIB's trading volume has increased significantly on the platform, making it the third most traded asset in the last 24 hours, just behind Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
Upbit's trading activity demonstrates the strong demand for SHIB in South Korea, a nation well-known for its active involvement in the cryptocurrency space.
The spike in SHIB trading volume on Upbit significantly affects the market. It shows that people are becoming more interested in cryptocurrencies other than the well-known Bitcoin and Ethereum. As of this writing, SHIB has gained 0.45% over the previous day as worries about the transfer of Mt. Gox Bitcoin money caused losses in the cryptocurrency market.
Shiba Inu Warns Community of TREAT Token Scams, Reaffirms No Official Release Yet
On May 25, the much-anticipated TREAT token has yet to be formally issued, and Shiba Inu's marketing lead, Lucie, has reinforced this necessary caution, putting the Shiba Inu community on high alert.
This letter is being sent amid a wave of fraudulent activity. Many phony tokens are trying to exploit the excitement around the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
The number of fraudulent schemes and counterfeit tokens in the cryptocurrency industry has increased recently. These schemes primarily target well-known groups like Shiba Inu. The most recent victim of these scams is the TREAT token, intended to be added to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. False copies of TREAT have been produced by imposters, deceiving enthusiastic investors and generating uncertainty.
The existence of these imposters greatly endangered the Shiba Inus community. Those who fall prey to these fraudulent schemes may suffer significant financial losses. Even seasoned investors find it difficult to distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent enterprises because scammers frequently employ sophisticated tactics to give their schemes an air of respectability.
As previously reported, Lucie refuted speculations on the TREAT token's launch, claiming that TREAT has yet to be formally issued despite false stories. Lucie has reaffirmed that TREAT has yet to be launched, adding to the community's advice to rely solely on updates from the genuine Treat X account in light of the increasing number of impostors.
Community members must be aware and watchful as the Shiba Inu ecosystem develops and grows.
Reiterating that the TREAT token has not yet been released is a crucial reminder to only trust official sources and exercise caution regarding potential fraud. Moreover, they should exercise prudence when divulging personal information or linking purses to dubious websites.
The team's communication and education efforts regarding the SHIB community are crucial to ensuring that the forthcoming launch of TREAT is successful and devoid of impostors.
