A single supply figure for Shiba Inu (SHIB) yields two hypothetical valuations separated by about $1.35 billion, because historical price records place the token’s October 2021 peak at different levels.

A price record places SHIB at $0.00008616 on Oct. 27, 2021; applied to the 589.238 trillion SHIB in an Oct. 29 snapshot, it works out to about $50.77 billion. The Oct. 28 record, $0.00008845, gives about $52.12 billion against that supply.

The lower estimate is about 17.3 times as large as the $2.928 billion market capitalization in the Oct. 29 snapshot. Market capitalization reflects a token’s price multiplied by its circulating supply; these calculations are scenarios, not estimates of the capital required to reach either value.

Another reading from Oct. 27, 2021, paired a rounded SHIB price of $0.00008 with 394.796 trillion circulating tokens and a market capitalization of $31.58 billion. Because it was taken separately from the reported intraday highs, it does not show the circulating supply at either peak. An earlier EconoTimes Oct. 16 snapshot put SHIB’s market capitalization at $3.02 billion.
