Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, short liquidations were five times the long total during the hour TRON (TRX) gained 2.25% on Binance, accounting for most of a $180,000 tally.
At 8:33 p.m. ET Saturday (00:33 UTC Sunday), Binance's spot pair for TRX and Tether (USDT) was quoted at $0.3096, up from $0.3028 an hour earlier, an increase of $0.0068 per token. Although TRX rose during that hour, it remained 4.30% below its level 24 hours earlier. The 2.25% figure measures the hour ending at 8:33 p.m. ET; the 4.30% decline covers the 24 hours ending at that observation.
Liquidation data showed $150,000 in short positions and $30,000 in longs across the three exchanges during the hour. The short-side total exceeded long liquidations by $120,000.
CoinGecko and exchange spot data put TRX at $0.3076, down 5.13% over 24 hours as of 00:45 UTC Sunday. This later reading uses a different endpoint and rolling 24-hour window from the Binance observation.
The reading differs from the earlier Saturday morning EconoTimes market snapshot, which recorded $0.3179 at 5:25 a.m. ET (09:25 UTC) with a 4.01% 24-hour decline. Those daily changes cover separate rolling windows and do not measure the price change between the two snapshots.
