Silver advanced in two early Monday, Oct. 19, price readings, with FXStreet and Kitco each showing gains near 1% ahead of the separate daily silver benchmark auction.

In a post published at 5:31 a.m. ET (09:31 UTC), FXStreet reported silver at $57.53 per troy ounce. That was 0.93% above its $57.00 reference from Friday.

Kitco Metals Inc. displayed a spot bid of $57.43 per troy ounce at 5:46 a.m. ET (09:46 UTC), along with an increase of $0.57, or 1%. Kitco did not specify the price used for that comparison. The two quotes were recorded at different times and showed different prices.

Investing.com’s historical table listed $57.3430 for Oct. 19, down 0.05% from its Oct. 18 entry of $57.3745. That daily comparison starts from a different date than FXStreet’s Friday reference, so it does not describe the same early trading interval.

The London Bullion Market Association’s daily Silver Price is set through an auction scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC) on Oct. 19. ICE Benchmark Administration Limited operates and administers the auction. The early price readings are intraday quotes, separate from that benchmark.
