Sinclair raised its 2026 adjusted EBITDA outlook and now projects about $455 million in political-ad revenue, a preliminary estimate above the minimum it set in August.
The company made the change Nov. 4. Its adjusted EBITDA range is now $825 million to $835 million, compared with a previous forecast of $730 million to $760 million. Adjusted EBITDA excludes interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and incorporates other adjustments Sinclair specifies.
The political-ad estimate is preliminary and covers the full year; it is not revenue already recorded. On Aug. 5, Sinclair raised its minimum guidance from at least $333 million to at least $375 million. The latest projection is $80 million above that earlier lower bound.
For the second quarter, Sinclair reported $59 million in political-ad revenue, 9% higher than in the same quarter of 2022. That quarterly figure is reported revenue, while the $455 million amount is a full-year projection for 2026.
