France 24 reported that Singapore firms are marketing tests and therapies aimed at aging, a business area that may point to new models for health care delivery.
Services described in the report include continuous metabolic monitoring, genetic testing, oxygen therapy and supplements. Some people hope to lower their biological age by 20 years while staying fit, mentally sharp and competitive.
The report described Singapore as a possible example of subscription-based health care. In that model, services could measure individual cells and seek ways to improve or correct them.
France 24 said the global healthy-ageing market was worth $19 billion to $20 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow to more than three times that size by 2035.
