A Binance public-data entry shows one $2.02 million Bitcoin (BTC) short liquidation at $77,150 at 11:48 p.m. ET Nov. 3, a single-position record rather than an exchangewide tally.

The record was timestamped 11:48 p.m. ET Tuesday, Nov. 3 (04:48 UTC Wednesday, Nov. 4), on Binance's perpetual futures market. It separates the position's value from its liquidation price: $2.02 million and $77,150, respectively.

The amount applies to that one position. It does not represent all Bitcoin liquidations on Binance or a marketwide total. A short position benefits when an asset's price falls, while liquidation closes the position.

EconoTimes previously reported a separate Binance short liquidation on Oct. 16, valued at $6.16 million with a recorded liquidation price of $82,845. The earlier Binance Bitcoin short liquidation was another individual entry.
