ATLANTA, Sept. 20, 2016 -- SkySync, Gartner Cool Vendor and industry leading technology that enables organizations to easily integrate content from existing storage platforms to the Cloud, will be exhibiting as a Gold sponsor at the annual Microsoft Ignite conference, Sept. 26-29 at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center.
Portal Architects, the creators of SkySync, recently became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
“We are looking forward to returning to Microsoft Ignite, this time as a Gold Certified Partner. SkySync is a powerful tool that enables organizations to easily adopt Office 365, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint across the enterprise, from virtually any other on-premises or Cloud-based storage platform,” said Steve Woodward, SkySync CTO. “The ability to tightly integrate these Microsoft platforms with more than 30 other storage systems has never been done before, and we are excited to share that with the Microsoft community.”
JDA Software recently migrated 1,400 users to Office 365 from on-premises network file systems and other cloud-based storage with SkySync. “SkySync was bulletproof… It played by the rules and did so very efficiently. We were able to catch up to our deadline and actually finish our migration a week ahead of schedule,” said Mark Fling Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations at JDA.
As part of their presence at Ignite, Woodward will present a session detailing how organizations like JDA Software and others have successfully migrated to Office 365 and OneDrive for Business, while maintaining key metadata, user permissions, file ownership and other properties – with no major coding or services required. The breakout session titled, “Migrate Content to Office 365 Without Getting Burned,” will take place during the conference Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 11:35 a.m. in Theater 5.
