SoftBank Group shares fell 10.83% in Tokyo on Friday. Elon Musk’s X post alleged a default on turbine orders but identified no specific order.

Musk wrote on X, “SoftBank is defaulting on their turbine orders.” The allegation has not been confirmed.

SoftBank participates in Stargate alongside OpenAI and Oracle. The AI initiative began in January 2025. Musk did not say the turbine-order claim involved the project.
