At 1:30 p.m. ET (17:30 UTC) on Thursday, Oct. 15, Solana (SOL) traded at $102.19 after a 5.1% 24-hour loss, placing it near the bottom of the $100-to-$105 chart range.

At the quoted time, SOL was still trading above $100. About $96 was the next marker on the chart after $100, contingent on a daily close below that level.

Daily MACD was negative, below its signal line, and on-balance volume had moved down. The four-hour reading put MACD under both zero and its signal line, with on-balance volume little changed.

The Fibonacci retracement levels placed SOL near 78.6% on the four-hour view and about 50% on the daily chart.
