Solana’s reported on-chain real-world asset value ended at about 6.1 times its starting level in Castle Labs’ Oct. 15 one-year comparison, bringing it to roughly one-quarter of Ethereum’s total.
Castle Labs put Solana’s value at about $700 million at the start of the period and $4.3 billion at the end. Ethereum’s corresponding figures were $15.5 billion and $16.6 billion, a gain of roughly 7%. At the two endpoints, Solana’s value equaled about 4.5% and 26% of Ethereum’s, respectively. Ethereum’s ending value was still about 3.9 times Solana’s.
Castle Labs attributed Solana’s growth to institutional efforts to attract deployments and capture tokenized-equity activity. The analysis also pointed to efforts to make tokenized assets usable in decentralized finance (DeFi), including through Kamino and Jupiter Lend.
