Solana’s stablecoin supply remained below its September record in an Oct. 25 reading, while weekly decentralized exchange turnover also declined, giving two measures of activity on the network.

September’s peak, $17.51 billion, was higher than the $15.653 billion tallied Oct. 25 for stablecoins on Solana. Across the seven-day period, traders exchanged $12.47 billion on the network’s decentralized exchanges, a 4.6% decline from the previous week.

The reading put decentralized finance (DeFi) total value locked at $5.736 billion and chain fees over 24 hours at $477,322. The weekly holder count cited in the report is based on addresses containing stablecoins. It cannot identify distinct people or show how often those addresses transact.

Separately, EconoTimes previously reported a record 14.2 million stablecoin holders on Solana. That holder figure is distinct from the supply amount reported here, which measures dollar value.
