SAN DIEGO, CA, March 29, 2018 -- SourcingLink.net Inc. (OTC Pink: SNET) is pleased to announce the renewal of the Lac Fire Claims, completion of a 43-101 compliant report on the property and a new exploration program to be launched in the Spring of 2018. The Lac Fire Lithium property is adjacent to and shares a claim boundary with the $5.49 billion (in situ) 43-101 compliant resource owned by Critical Elements. The Rose deposit consists of 26M tonnes of indicated resources containing 1.30% Li2O Equivalent (Eq) and 10.7M tonnes of inferred resources containing 1.14% Li2O Equivalent (Eq).
Past Work
In 2011 the previous exploration of the Lac Fire property reported 19 grab samples from the Lamothe lithium showing that averaged 1.06% Li2O and completed a total of 20 holes totalling 3,051m.
The Lamothe lithium zone was traced for 300 meters along strike with a 50 meter width and drilled to a depth of 50 meters. It is open in all directions. Significant drill intersections included:
- 1.22% Li2O and 134.8 ppm Ta2O5 over 3.11 meters
- 1.19% Li2O and 97.2 ppm Ta2O5 over 2.03 meters
- 0.63% Li2O over 9.4 meters
The Lamothe lithium zone appears to be the northeast extension of a number of parallel lithium zones that extend from the Rose lithium resource northeast to the Lac Fire claim group.
In June 2017, SNET took a total of 12 grab samples on the Lac Fire Property. Seven (7) samples were taken on the previously known Lamothe Zone trend over a strike length of about 135 meters. The arithmetic average of the 7 samples was found to be 1.56% Li2O and 132 ppm Ta2O5. The zone was found to be open on both ends and was overburden covered. Anomalous zones were determined with the aid of a hand-held XRF analyzer. The 2011 drill camp was located as well as all the stored drill core that was drilled in 2011. The drill core was found to be in excellent shape.
Proposed Work Program
The 43-101 compliant report recommends a two phase exploration program on the Lac Fire property. Phase one will consist of surface work with a proposed budget of $79,120 and Phase 2 will consist of primarily diamond drilling with a proposed budget of $203,895.
Phase I work this Spring will consist of
1) Systematic sampling of the Lamothe Zone.
2) Overburden stripping at both ends of the zone to extend the zone on surface
3) Prospecting along strike to locate additional mineralized zones.
“2017 exploration on the Lac Fire Property has confirmed the previous reported work on the property and found higher grade lithium and tantalum values in the Lamothe Zone with the aid of a hand-held XRF instrument. Prospecting discovered a new mineralized showing ( 2.14% Li2O) on strike with the Lamothe Zone,” stated Wayne Holmstead, P.Geo.
