Mason Lynaugh made the prediction in an Oct. 23 Bitcoin Magazine interview, saying it did not depend on which party won the Nov. 3 midterms.

Stand With Crypto Executive Director Mason Lynaugh forecast the most pro-Bitcoin Congress in U.S. history ahead of the Nov. 3 midterms, regardless of which party won.

Bitcoin Magazine published its video interview with Lynaugh on Oct. 23. The interview description says he expected the next Congress to be the most pro-Bitcoin in history, whoever prevailed in the election. The video was framed around the influence crypto voters might have in the midterm contests.

The forecast concerned the incoming Congress as a whole. It was a pre-election expectation, rather than a report on the outcome of any race.

EconoTimes had earlier reported that Stand With Crypto said advocates from 24 state chapters contacted voters in 21 U.S. races. That earlier coverage of the group’s outreach described door-knocking and phone calls aimed at supporting crypto-friendly candidates, as well as endorsements in House and Senate races.
